Cliona’s Foundation are delighted to have been selected as a beneficiary of the proceeds of a great event being  run  by transition year students in Scoil Pól, Kilfinane on Saturday 8th April

This is the 2nd year that the students have hosted this event which was initiated in 2016 as part of their Mental Health Awareness week , encouraging everyone to get out and do a small bit of exercise.

There is something for everyone and people of all ages can choose to cycle, run, walk or crawl whichever option they choose.

The day starts off  with a  choice of a challenging 60Km or 35km cycle spinning out at 10 and 10.30 am respectively followed by the 5km run or walk at 12 o’ clock. Registration opens at 9:30am for the cyclists.

It promises  to be a great Family fun day out with a bouncy castle, BBQ, face painting , Mickey & Minnie Mouse and the SPINIs from Spin SW entertaining  from 11:50 am – 2:00 pm.

It really is very inspiring to see young people putting in enormous effort to help others and further details on the event can be found here
