Another amazing and epic fundraiser that has been going on for about 6 weeks now is the incredible Martin Hennessey. Martin was cycling from Limerick to Tbilisi and we are delighted to report he has safely arrived. Martin is flying to China today for a couple of days rest before he begins the Gobi Desert challenge. Martin is going to cross the Gobi Desert over 7 days on foot.

Here is an update from Martin in his own words:
“Alright lads I fly to China tomorrow, so wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to all who donated to Cliona’s Foundation. The people at home, abroad, the raffle at Sheehys ,the coffee morning and for the buckets at work. For me it is a super charity.

I’d also liked to thank the people who helped me with this!!! That’s family, friends and anyone who helped in anyway, every cog is vital lads big or small. The messages aswell are a great lift and i have to say the people i met along the way some i asked for help and some who offered.

On Tbilisi, didn’t know what to expect but it’s a fantastic city well worth a visit. Won’t have any wifi next week during the Gobi but will try and throw up a few photos after it. ”
