Cliona’s Foundation along with Clare Haven are delighted to be a beneficiary of the 5th Hurley-Hoey Run/Walk/Cycle which takes place in Ennis on Saturday March 11th.This fantastic event is held in memory of two well known figures in Ennis,  Eilish Hurley and Ger Hoey and  who passed away at a very young age in 2004 and 2009 respectively.Whilst it is under the Hurley-Hoey banner, the intention of the organizers is very much to give runners/walkers and cyclists the opportunity to participate in an event in memory of their own loved ones.

The Run/Walk will start at 11am with the cyclists taking to their bikes at the earlier time of  10.30 with a choice of a 20km or 50km cycle. Registration fee is €20 with a reduced rate of €10 for students and free entry for children under 12. To participate in the cycle you must be over 16 years of age. Further details and route maps can be reviewed on their website  and you can book your spot early by clicking here

Jackie Tyrrell, Former Kilkenny Hurling Captain lent his support to the event at the recent launch in LIT

We are very grateful to have been selected by the committee as a beneficiary and we look forward to being able to share with the participants information on the service we provide nationwide to families in need.
